Mark Penske

Mark Penske is Chairman of United Atlantic Capital (“UAC”), a privately owned financial services holding company founded in 2004 and headquartered in New York. UAC’s current activities are focused on investing in, improving, and operating early to late-stage institutional and retail-focused fintech and financial services companies. By providing capital, operational, and strategic expertise to partner businesses, UAC works to add long-term value and, when appropriate, well-timed exits that consider the “right fit” just as much as the highest bid.

Since its founding, UAC has participated in over 20 transactions with private and public counterparties. These transactions include (but are not limited to) wealth management firms, investment management companies, and operations/administrative/technology services providers. UAC was the first in the world to receive and maintain the ISO 9001:2008 certification for our Quality Management System.

Mark began his career at Merrill Lynch in San Diego while completing his final two years of college. After graduation, he moved to New York and worked for Citigroup’s Smith Barney unit. Eventually the draw to independence won out and Mark left Citigroup to form what is now known as United Atlantic Capital, LLC and affiliated companies.
